Im here today so that you can review my boss site. The site is in flash like he told me to do, but for some reason if it was my choice I would go with html instead of flash cause not everyone has fast internet access. Im trying to talk to him about this before he builds his own data center here in NYC and hopfully I can get some type of advise on the site and report to him.
My first thoughts were, Would I buy from this site? my answer is yes I would. loose the music for sure, Logos on the bottom look a little rough. other than what I mentioned I think it's Very Nice!
Glad to see a change in the way hosting sites are being
designed. Flash looks good.
$9.99/month on frontpage looks like it has jagged edges.
One main issue I see is that your text type is different for almost everypage. The one thing I've learned about keeping a website professional is having a "theme look" including logo, font, colors, etc. and using this "theme look" on each page.
I would suggest you check out some pixel fonts. They will look much nicer and you should make it so each and every page not only uses the same font and style but most importantly that they are clear and easy to read. I'm not expert but I think it will give your site a crisper look that might make the difference of someone choosing you or another host.
One more thing, you want to make navigation as user friendly as possible. The first thing someone will see is the homepage which has offers but no clickable areas. If I wanted to find out more about the "Hosting Special", I should be able to click on the words "and much more" to take me to a more detailed page.
And what the hell is the Cpanel Control Panel on the first page talking about?
