Rosehosting.com
Last month I obtained a VPS from rosehosting.com. Last week I did a traceroute to my ip and found out this:
11 873 ms 83 ms 64 ms p6-0.core01.stl02.atlas.cogentco.com [154.54.3.7
0]
12 64 ms 71 ms 66 ms p1-0-1-0.a00.stlsmo04.us.ce.verio.net [198.88.23
9.198]
13 855 ms 64 ms 63 ms sys-216.87.62.253.primary.net [216.87.62.253]
14 67 ms 65 ms 67 ms stl-colo-01.primary.net [216.87.63.12]
15 71 ms 65 ms 65 ms vs751.rosehosting.com [209.135.xxx.xxx]
Does this mean that they are co-locating the server my vps is on at a facility owned by primary.net?
Is it common for vps to outsource like that? Should I be afraid of then going out of business or something?
Should I be looking for a bigger company that uses their own facilities?

They use Primary Networks as their transit. No need to worry.

The host name as colo could mean they are, but is never sure.
It does not look like they have thier own datacenter from the looks of their webpage.Eleven2 Web Hosting - World-Wide Hosting, Done Right!
