Today we are having problems on one of our servers (reseller account); clients are not able to send e-mail and are asked for username and password every time they try sending. This info is however stored in outlook, as it always has been, and nothing has been changed in terms of the password.
SMTP authentication is also used by our reseller provider, so this has been applied when setting up all these accounts from the start.
I've sent a help ticket regarding this, of course, but perhaps someone here could have an idea what could cause this?
Have you tried logging in your email controlpanel , ascertain that they email accounts are intact and the passwords the same as before? Best if you have a webmail, login using the passwords, see if you can enter.
At least this makes sure your password and account is ok.
