    Help Pricing Vbulletin Forum

    I need some help...

I am thinking of selling my forum. Only because my life has gone a different direction and I don't have the time to run it any longer.
I have some staff wanting to buy it, but I have NO IDEA how to price something like this! I'd prefer it went to someone that would keep it similar to what it is.

Let me give you some specs...

It is a little over 3 years old.
    It's Vbulletin 3.0.3.
It has a few hacks including Vbportal 3.0.0
    It has:
    Threads: 6,502
    Posts: 59,194
Members: 518 (would be a lot more but I prune every so often).

It gets new members at least 1 a day nearly.
It comes up well on many search engines.

If you view my profile it will take you to my website which then there is a link for EOTC Pet Forums if you want to see it.
I don't know if this is the right place to ask this question.

Does the site currently make any money? If so what does it usually make a month?

If it doesn't make any money what kind of traffic stats are on it?

No it's not a site that makes money. Just a discussion site...

I tried finding traffic stats and couldn't find them... I know I have seen them before... I'll look again...

Well if somebody is going to purcahse this from you, they would most likely want to know what the site makes and since it does not currently make anything, they are going to be wondering what they could make with this site in one way or another.

In your situation I would suggest just giving the forum over to somebody you know will take care of it and run it the way it should be, maybe just asking for the price of the VB License or something like that.
