Cerberus Helpdesk -Unlimited Domain License $130 Discount, Single Domain $50 Discount
Hello,
I just found a website that is selling Cerberus Helpdesk - Unlimited Domain License for a $130 discount off regular price and a single domain license for a $50 discount off regualr price.
Unlimited Domain License - $650 (Normally $780)
http://phpaudit.com/orders/more_info...?product_id=23
Single Domain License - $300 (Normally $350)
http://phpaudit.com/orders/more_info...product_id=22,
Since it is a pretty large and popular website www.phpaudit.com offering this, I am assuming that it is 100% legit, but have not verified it with Cerberus yet. (Just found out that Cerberus offices are located 3 minutes away from me )
Anybody think this is a good deal, or are there other websites offering a better deal?
Thanks...

Not to start a flame war here, but for $350 you can get an Unlimited Kayako eSupport owned license. Which is as good or better (depending on your standpoint) solution.

Aww... no worries. We're all entitled to our own opinions here on WHT
Some people will vow that Kayako is better and other will vow that Cerberus is the best... it's all about how you look at it, and what you want to use it for.
Just thought I would bring this post up incase someone wanted to save $130 off a license
Thanks

You can look at it on: http://www.serversoutlet.com/supportsuite/
That's a non-working support desk, I installed it to play with it, so don't submit any reboot requests

As for Kayako SupportSuite, we were very tempted by their new v3 release and Varun was kind enough to get us a beta copy of it. In the end, after running MajorCRM (a superb addon to Cerberus Helpdesk - see end of my post for links) we decided to stay with Cerberus. Looks aren't everything, and the functionality & streamlined approach offered by Cerberus and MajorCRM just can't be matched by anything else that we've looked at.
Every companies needs are different, and Cerberus met our companies needs better than the other systems out there. It's quite possible that your company might be better met by Kayako's SupportSuite (www.kayako.com), Perldesk (www.perldesk.com), SitePanel2 (www.sitepanel2.com) or one of the other countless support desks out there.

Maybe once you've seen MajorCRM and read the reaction to it by myself and another user on the last page of the thread, you'll be wanting to buy Cerberus Helpdesk and MajorCRM instead of Kayako's productAlasdair

Is the service reliable? We are talking about the top two support systems for hosts going head to head, I think its safe to say they are both reliable...

I have used both and I highly prefer Kayako over Cerberus, mainly because I feel the admin/tech backend is much easier to get used to but also could possibly be that I am just so used to it.
