Confirm. They are doing something with their network. It was down for 5 minutes, then up, now again down.

    Thanks

We have to give them some time. I'm sure they are working at this problem right now.

    Thanks

    20 minutes

I think 20 minutes is a lot of downtime, even if I have seen worst during the last 2 years

Anyway, we can do nothing to bring up their network.

Yes, we can't do anything. Just simply wait and have a hope it won't be next 20 minutes...

Phoning hosts tends not to work as they are usually too busy to answer the phone at a time like this...

They added two new networks last week and it may be related. Our route has started going via Level 3 from one of our locations.

Thankfully we only have bits of our service at Burst so it has negligible impact but they do have regular routing problems to some networks.
Internet seer shows our Burst servers as being down 30% of the time. They aren't but internet seer can't connect due to routing problems.

    Their numbers are:
    1-877-287-7863
    1-570-343-2200

I won`t call them because I'm overseas... Guess they`ll be back on soon anyway.

I have had Burst servers for years and according to Siteuptime and host-tracker, I always stay in the 98% and up. Of course in the past there have been periods of long downtimes. Guess that my servers are on a good subnet.

but I did move many customers to another data center a couple years ago when they had all the long down times.

    OK, re read my post.
I said they were not down 30% of the time..... they just appear to be according to one popular monitoring service.

25 - 30 minutes I think. I have a personal server there and my POP3 account failed just after 1pm our time.
