    Question Need web hosting advice

I have a new PHP web site that contains a gallery of pictures and movie streams and I have no clue which hosting package I should start with.

I want my web site to be able to handle around 100 users at a given moment.

The PHP part of the site is not too heavy but I understand from reading other threads that you need a fast CPU for that.

Can anyone give me some advice on which CPU I should start with and do I need 1GB of memory or 0.5GB will be enough?

Also what is the bandwidth I need in order to support a reasonable movie streaming?

Why don't you ask the person who programmed the website in PHP, presumably they know what they are doing.

I programmed it..... Since it is my first web site I have no idea on which machine I should use to host it.
Also my main concern is the video streaming that consume a lot of bandwidth

I doubt anyone here can answer your questions; they are too specific to your website.

I suggest you email your specification and requirements to a number of ISPs and see what they say.

Yes, it does indeed depend on what "not too heavy" actually means...
