I'm considering purchasing Ev1's new high end server
Intel Dual Xeon 3.2 GHz
4 GB RAM
(4) 250GB SATA RAID 0+1 - 500GB Usable Hard Drives
3000 GB Monthly Transfer
And I will need a 3rd party admin to fully manage the server.
Here is what I am looking for with the server admin...
1.) Can handle all types of questions, from generic how to, to advanced troubleshooting questions.
2.) Can help with a server move
3.) Can harden and optimize the server
4.) Most imporantly... Has a FAST ticket response time (under 45 minutes or less). I need an admin that will respond to the ticket really fast and actually start to work on this issue immediately, not just an auto responder, but a true response.
I do NOT mind paying extra for a quality admin that can provide FAST and QUALITY support.
I was wondering the same thing as the thread starter, what 3rd Party Admin Server service company would be good to use. I have sent emails out to four (4) companies asking about the service that they provide.
I am glad to report that I have a 100% success rate on those emails, the sad part is that I am presently at 4.5 days since they were sent and I have a 100% no response rate.
If you can actually get one to respond than you are one step ahead of me. I do not mean to be negative about all the companies in this field but my present experience is not exactly filling with a great amount of hope or faith.

The general concensus is that Touch Support has very speedy ticket response times.
They may respond slowly to pre-sales but, that just shows they speond more time on support. I'm actually considering their $29.95/mo package myself.

Already did that... That is how I determined that they have a pretty good rep here on WHT, but I could not find answeres to the 2 questions I listed above, hence that is why I am asking in a new thread...
They are on the more expensive side but they deal with everything from personal experience from small everyday security patches to large issues and all in record time. Most of our tickets have been answered within 5 minutes and we have gotten multiple tickets/issues resolved in the same day.
