I am not sure about your present status. If you have still problem, you can overcome this by using the following command
mount -w -o remount /
Normally this shows that you have a bad hard disk. You should check /var/log/dmesg or /var/log/messages for kernel errors as Linux will remount a volume readon-only on boot if it finds serious file system problems.
If you check the logs from last reboot, it will tell you, why it mounted the disk read only file system
not so sure as previously we also have an issue with the read only file system and it ended up that the hdd is corrupted. I would suggest you to look through the hard drive and make a backup of your files in case things turns back. Ask your DC techs to have you took a look if you are not familiar to ensure everything is fine.
