    Server down

    Hello all,

    Expecting your valuable replies...

I have some servers with EV1 and most of all times all Servers has problems.

One of my Server is Down last April 30th, May 30th and now June30th. I think someone is deliberately doing this.

Normally my Server load is below 2.0 and 2 days back it hiked as 320 and went down. My server is not yet UP till now. I don't know the reason. Sometimes I can access it through telnet. Most of the times it wont.

I have posted Several tickets for this and always they are investigating..

I have hosted around 1000 small sites on this server and it takes a max of 20gb space and 45gb of bandwidth per month.

So what will be the exact problem???

    Expecting everybodys comments..

Check the customer cron tabs, one by one. As well, look at the cron logs.

    Re: Server down

    Hello,

Did you check logs?. If not You should check the apache, mail, secure and messages. It will help you to find out the reason.

    ----------------------------------------
"My server is not yet UP till now."
    ----------------------------------------
What do you mean?. Could you please explain it more?. Do you mean your webserver or entire server?.

Also you can find out user's cron file in /var/spool/cron directory.

May be this will help you to find out the ping point of your issue

    Let me know the status.

    Hello,

Also you can check using the cron job of individual users using the following command
    ------------------------------
    crontab -e -u <user name>
    ------------------------------

    With regards,

    Do you use WHM?

If yes, then you are probably seeing high Server load at the end of the month due to WHM doing it's updating of monthly Stats for each account. You could also see Apache restarting constantly as well.
