Question cpanel redirect.cgi - SuExec issues

    Hello,

I have an issue with accessing yourdomain.com/cpanel or /whm or /webmail. It gives Internal Server Error.

I could access using IP/webmail as well as IP:2082, yourdomain.com:2082 etc..

I got this working by disabling SuExec in WHM.

When SuExec was enabled the apache error log showed "premature end of script headers" for cgi scripts in /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/
Also, apache suexec log gave error as follows:

    [2005-06-30 03:41:58]: info: (target/actual) uid: (user/user) gid: (user/user) cmd: whmredirect.cgi
[2005-06-30 03:41:58]: error: command not in docroot (/usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/whmredirect.cgi)

Does anyone know how I can get yourdomain.com/whm etc working without disabling SuExec?

    OS: CentOS release 3.5 (Final)

    Hi Nickn,

I changed the ownership from root.whell to root.cpanel, root.nobody and all.. That dos not help. But the suexec log shows the error:
    [2005-06-30 03:41:58]: info: (target/actual) uid: (user/user) gid: (user/user) cmd: whmredirect.cgi
[2005-06-30 03:41:58]: error: command not in docroot (/usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/whmredirect.cgi)

where "user" is the username of the domain I take in the browser, for accessing cpanel, whm etc
