ProFTPD on Debian: FTP Straight to /var/www
Well, I have ProFTPD installed on Debian (http://184.108.40.206) with Apache 2.0.54.
Apache's www directory is /var/www. However, I don't know how to make an FTP account that will go straight to /var/www, instead of http://220.127.116.11/~user/.
I have no idea what to do.
Could I change Apache's root directory to /home/user? I don't know how to do this, since this was a custom packaged .deb. They customized the hell out of it.
You can change your document root of apache by editing httpd.conf file.
You can also set the home dir in Proftpd using:
To jail the user into their home directroy.
