We're going to be putting a POP in London and I've been looking at the main docklands datacentre options - Telehouse, Redbus, Global Switch and Telecity.
I'm looking at a mix of influencing factors such as connectivity, power reliability, reputation, cooling, security and general competency. We're not interested in skimping on quality to save a few quid.
Has anyone had a good/bad experience with Telecity, and if so any preferences between Telecity1 (Bonnington House/Millharbour) and Telecity2 (Harbour Exchange Floors 1-4)?
Telecity2 seems to have a wider choice of bandwidth providers. Both Telecity 1 and 2 are primary LINX sites which is a strong plus.

Telehouse: One of the best connected, I think they are generally thought to be a little warmer than some of the other data centre's but this is really nit picking. I know people with machines in telehouse north and they seem very happy with them.
Redbus: Meridan gate seems to be the most solid of these data centres although I hear it is filling up fast, they have had minor power problems which I'm sure if you google you can find out about.
We have PoP's in all of the mentioned London sites and I have been to them many times.
Telehouse - I would not choose Telehouse as although it's the best connected the place is too outdated has issue's with power capacity etc. We want to install 2 new 6509's but they cannot supply any more power. They do have a nice cafe there though
Redbus - Middle of the road really, nothing special but reasonable enough.
Global Switch - rumour is they are almost bankrupt as the new building has been pretty much empty for almost 2 years.
Telecity - Best of the bunch. Very helpful techs etc. Only downside is thet they charge alot for having crossconnects installed.
Have you considered Level(3) ? There is 2 datacentres in London.
Interxion is an old brewery (So it already had hugely thick walls and floors and big open spaces). We just found the whole facility/package to work for us, they aren't the cheapest, but then again, they don't provide a cheap service either.
