8x ServeLinux 1u Dual PIIIs for one killer price

I posted two of these 1u’s for sale over a week ago. After going through all I have, I am ready to deal / move what I have left. This is a great chance for you to pick up 8 complete 1u servers. Lease them out as cheap boxes, use them as back up servers, you get the idea. All the servers are the Servelinux 1u boxes w/ 2 hotswap hardware ide raid 1

    4x Dual PIII 1ghz, 1gb ram 2 with dual 20gb and 2 with dual 80gb 7,200 rpm
    1x Dual PIII 1ghz 512mb ram 2 x 80gb 7.2k rpm
3x dual PIII 866mhz 512mb ram w/o hard drives, come with the trays
(can add 80gb 7.2k rpm drives for $35 ea drive)

These servers have a scsi to ide raid card. Its pretty nice, and works well in my tests. Loading windows XP picks up drivers for everything, the dual Intel nics, the video and the scsi (ide drives). It uses ACARD scsi to ide raid here is some info on that http://www.acard.com.tw/english/fc02.jsp in testing I took one of the mirrored drives tossed it into one of the other machines and it booted up perfectly. It would be easy to get all of these 8 machines up. Get a machine up, take the mirrored copy to get another system up mirror both of those and you have 4 up, and so on. Worked good in testing here. More info on the servers is here - http://www.halken.net/site_archive/h...t_1U_specs.htm

All of the servers will be fully tested before shipping, we run prime95 and Sandra pro burn in wizard at max load for at least 48 hours.

The only issue with these is mainly cosmetic, they are not “new looking: on the outside, they look new inside where it counts, but they have scratches and such. Some of them don’t read burned cd’s very well, I ordered 10 new laptop cdroms and will replace all the cd roms.

Still with me here? Then you might be interested? I am looking to get $1,600 for all 8 they will be shipped in the original boxes you can see them in the pictures. It will be $30ish to ship each box anywhere in the 48 states. If someone commits on this within the next day or two I will work out something maybe 60/40 cut on that shipping price. I will also try to populate that 8th server with cpus. If this does not sell within a few days It will go on ebay. Some time next week I will have some cobalts up for sell. I have a total of 50 cobalts, so the deals will be flying

I also have a IBM xSeries Eserver 335 dual 3.06ghz xeon w/ 4gb ram 1u new server that will end on ebay in 4 days http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=5784433614 if your interested in looking.

I will have a nice 4u massive 4 terabyte storage server up for sale later this week or next week. it is the same layout as this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=5702600302 12k server on ebay, but has a better motherboard, triple redundant power supplies, dual 2.66 xeons, 160 gb boot drive, 16x 250gb serial ata hdds, 2x 8port 3ware hardware raid cards, and much more. The dates on the hdds are JAN 2005, so its less than 6 months old, does not look like its been used. I am looking for offers in the 5k range. If
Your at all interested please contact me about it.

    Thanks for looking!

I can accept paypal (my account is more than 6 years old) check, money order (will ship when the funds clear)

I should clear up the free shipping part on the 4x dual 1ghz, I can cover the free shipping on those to anywhere in the lower 48 states.

One of the 866's was just sold. that leaves 7 servers left. thanks!

right now I have 4 dual 1ghz w/ 1gb ram 1 1ghz with 512mb and 2 866's. so a total of 7 left. one of the 1ghz might be gone. I will post if it is. I posted the 4x offer as someone was interested in 4. make an offer, let me know what you want and we can go from there. right now the best deal would be all 7 for 1400 or the 4 1ghz ones for 950.

the best I could do would be $275 for a dual 866 w/ 512mb ram and dual 20gb drives, and I would cover the shipping. I should have a set of 933 chips next week. as of now I have 4 x dual 1ghz, 1 933, and 2 866's 2 sets of 20gbs and plenty of 80gb 7.2k seagates. make an offer for the lot, or let me know what you want. Thrs the 7th what I have left will go on ebay as a big lot. please no < $200 offers.
