    Can Anyone Help With RulesDuJour?

    I'm hoping someone has been thru this. We have spent hours looking for an answer.

    We have setup RulesDuJour to update our SpamAssassin rules and it downloads the rules OK but then returns this:

    ***WARNING***: spamassassin --lint failed.
    Rolling configuration files back, not restarting SpamAssassin.
    Rollback command is: mv -f /etc/mail/spamassassin/ /etc/mail/spamassassin/RulesDuJour/; mv -f /etc/mail/spamassassin/RulesDuJour/ /etc/mail/spamassassin/; mv -f /etc/mail/spamassassin/ /etc/mail/spamassassin/RulesDuJour/; rm -f /etc/mail/spamassassin/; mv -f /etc/mail/spamassassin/ /etc/mail/spamassassin/RulesDuJour/; mv -f /etc/mail/spamassassin/RulesDuJour/ /etc/mail/spamassassin/; mv -f /etc/mail/spamassassin/ /etc/mail/spamassassin/RulesDuJour/; rm -f /etc/mail/spamassassin/; mv -f /etc/mail/spamassassin/ /etc/mail/spamassassin/RulesDuJour/; rm -f /etc/mail/spamassassin/; mv -f /etc/mail/spamassassin/ /etc/mail/spamassassin/RulesDuJour/; rm -f /etc/mail/spamassassin/; mv -f /etc/mail/spamassassin/ /etc/mail/spamassassin/RulesDuJour/; rm -f /etc/mail/spamassassin/; mv -f /etc/mail/spamassassin/ /etc/mail/spamassassin/RulesDuJour/; rm -f /etc/mail/spamassassin/; mv -f /etc/mail/spamassassin/ /etc/mail/spamassassin/RulesDuJour/; rm -f /etc/mail/spamassassin/; mv -f /etc/mail/spamassassin/ /etc/mail/spamassassin/RulesDuJour/; rm -f /etc/mail/spamassassin/;

    Lint output: ./rules_du_jour: spamassassin: command not found

    Anybody have any insight that can help us here?

    The error you are getting:
    Lint output: ./rules_du_jour: spamassassin: command not found
    sounds like the rules_du_jour script can't locate the spamassassin file.

    You may want to make sure that the path to spamassassin (as referenced in the rules_du_jour script) is correct, meaning that the standard script assumes your spamassassin is located in:

    but check all the paths in the file just to be sure....

    [ "${SA_DIR}" ] || SA_DIR="/etc/mail/spamassassin"; # Change this to your SA local config
    # directory, probably /etc/mail/spamassassin.
    # /var/amavisd/etc/mail/spamassassin
    [ "${SA_LINT}" ] || SA_LINT="spamassassin --lint"; # Command used to lint the rules
    SA_RESTART="/etc/init.d/spamassassin restart"; # Command used to restart spamd
    # May be /etc/rc.d/init.d/spamassassin restart
