I followed the Linux Guy tutorial on setting up Shoutcast. I can access the pages just fine on port 8000, but it says:
Server Current Status: Server Down
On the main page. I guess my question is where do I go from here? I have multiple people wanting to stream their own shoutcast. I thought Shoutcast allowed you to upload music files and you simply point to a playlist and it will play the files. I looked at the other tutorial as well to install posix_40, but how do you set that up for multiple people?
I basically just want to know where do I go from here. I have shoutcast running it looks like, so how do I get the playlists working for different people?

As far as i know shoutcast allows 1 play list to be played at a time or 1 broadcast at a time, but shoutcast does have password authentication, you can give it to two different people and they can use it at two differen times, if they are broadcasting two different streams at two different times.
1. How do I limit the kbps per config if the user was streaming via the DSP plugin?
2. How are stats grabbed? Is there documentation? I believe its via xml to get all the stats correct? I just need to know what field means what
