Hosting adventures Micfo.com - Hostgator.com and Finally Hostingzoom.com
My adventures started two months ago as I was looking for a multiply domains with
large amount of bandwidth shared hosting package. I've made some researches and
searched the web, finally after few days of researching I decided to give www.micfo.com a try. I've signed with them and for two months I was very happy,
I had no issues with micfo and everything ran smoothly. Then two weeks ago or
so they cancelled the paypal payment method and I had to leave them. I only use
hosts who accepts paypal as I am afraid that hosts will suddenly decide to charge
my CC out of the blue, with paypal I feel safer, no host can charge your paypal
account without you approving the payment. Anyhow, I wouldn't have left micfo if they
would have kept the paypal payment system, I can only say good words about that
company, I had no technical issues with them, and the support was always fast
Then , I had to search for a new host that accepts paypal and have the same features
Like I had with micfo(all terms, bandwidth disk space etc). Hostgator came as natural
choice for me, I wanted to try this company long time ago, and recently their prices
dropped and they offer more features.
I've signed up with hostgator and everything was smooth for few days, until one day
my father(one of the domains is for his business) told me he can't send or receive mail to/from some address he worked with before. I assumed it was somehow connected to hostgator as everything was fine before when I was with micfo. I contact them but
they were not able to help, they told me there was some problem with the mail server
but my problem was not fixed yet. Then after few days someone from hostgator discovered that some ISPs my father works with block hostgator for some reason, therefore he can't send mails to them.
Again I had to search a new host, I could not let my father lose clients because of such
matters, I did some few days research again and almost gave up – I felt no company
is trusty or worthy enough for me to work with…
Then I came across some post here discussing www.hostingzoom.com , I was surprised I did not hear about this company before. I did some research on WHT
and found out they have good reputation among WHT members. I've decided to
sign up with them as they offer fine package, with lots of bandwidth , disk space
and addon domains. I've placed an order, normally it should take them until 24h
to setup a new account, since they check them manually, but I contacted the sales
almost right after I've signed up, they validated me and sent me the account details.
Since then(few days ago) all the mail problems I had with hostgator disappeared,
My sites, and the server is working fine and I am really happy now.
I hope everything will stay well but I feel that www.hostingzoom.com is my final
hosting home, I think I will be safe there.
I will make a more serious review about hostingzoom in few months, after I'll have

If you can let us know, what exactly mails problems you were facing that would be great!
I believe it's likely that hostgator servers were in a blacklist of some ISPs my father worked with, as a result he could not sent them mails(that's about 10 addresses he worked with). The tech on hostgator traced one of the mail addresses i gave him and told me that they block hostgator - as i first believed hostgator have blocked them to protect from spam.

I had no idea they have stopped using PayPal, the other day it was still there as an alternative on their website.
I can understand being uneasy about leaving your credit card info, whih all the horror stories you hear. But with Micfo I have had no second thoughts using my cc.
I know, i really liked micfo.com , i was happy with their services, but indeed they cancelled the paypal option and said there is no ETA when they are going to return it - so i had to move on and search a new host - as i made it rule to myself no to give anyone my CC.
Anyhow, i am glad i found hostingzoom.com eventually , like i said - i now feel safe and free of troubles.
