I'd like to get some opinions on the site design for http://www.apachewebhost.com. Keep in mind that right now only the Flash splash page, main page, contact page, and a couple of links are active at this time. Just interested in the general layout. Plan on wrapping it up this week--so any input would be appreciated!

Looks neat, clean, and pretty

The only thing I would do is have an option to "skip" the flash intro. People might not want to sit and wait for 30 seconds of a spinning logo. Some people actually don't want to waste their time.

Maverick,

Your logo (specially in the flash intro) looks just like the one I made for http://www.FlashPlanet.com back in the days I owned it (before selling it to Internet.com).

zolbian- yeah, we noticed that. We are re-working the Flash intro and will be changing that quite a bit. Would like to stay with a "gears" motif though. The "box" is a lot alike, but I'd like to stick with it.

I have been working on a logo that looks kinda like that, but that was some months ago. But then i remeber where i saw it on a Tommy Hilfiger shirt, so who can say, i like mine, like everyones listed, but i think that they should be in different colors, like mine is in blue and white.

You might want to run around the sites you're 'Proud to Use' and grab some logos again. I can only guess but they goot like they've been squashed to the point of death. A fast load is one thing but if everything looks like it's 1992 then it doesn't reflect well for a modern hosting company.

Also I'd probably toast the Flash intro. It's great for personal sites or 'tech' stuff where people *want* to see Flash. Hosting companies are more about getting people in to have a look at the product, sign them up and move 'em out. These days people generally do a lot of looking around for a host and anything that gets in there way tends to upset them.
