I believe these are normal processes for RedHat, do you know if your server is running the SMP kernel? And if so, is it above version 2.4.20? I've seen other people who have problems with this when they upgrade the SMP kernel to above 2.4.20
Also is your server heavy on database usage?

To see if it is due to the SMP kernel, you can either try downgrading to the non-SMP kernel, or disable HyperThreading in the CMOS of the server. I have never personally used the SMP kernels on any of my servers since I know that they can occasionally be problematic, so I'm not sure if you can 'downgrade' or what the procedure would be....
If the loads go down, then you will have verification that it is due to the version of SMP kernel.
Always have complete verified backups of your server before making any changes!
