    Accounting :: Chart of Accounts

    Please copy/paste your chart of accounts. I'd like to see how you all hav them setup. Please also post what your business does (i.e. -- do you do just hosting, consulting, etc.?). Obviously don't post the balances (doh), I just want to know how you have them organized...

    Thanks!

    You don't need this information. In fact, I'd recommend AGAINST anyone even posting this information.

    Chris, have you talked to an accountant about this?

    When I first started my business I could have saw some host's chart of accounts and I would have had no clue what I was looking at. Then I finally talked to an accountant and I'm very happy I didn't try to do it my self

    Thanks for the information. Just for the record, I wasn't trying to pry into anyone's business or overstep privacy.... but thanks for sharing

    spiral thanks for contributing the information. I am in the middle of converting from managing my books manually to using Quickbooks to manage my accounts. After looking at your list I realized that there were a few I missed.
