    custom bandwidth exceeder?

    does anyone know if its possible to have custom bandwidth exceed page?

    instead of cPanel's
    Bandwidth Limit Exceeded
    The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to the site owner reaching his/her bandwidth limit. Please try again later.

    and does it require apache recompile? since its a separate module as i see it?

    Try modifying the

    cp /usr/local/cpanel/apache/mod_bwlimited.c /usr/local/cpanel/apache/mod_bwlimited.c.bak

    edit /usr/local/cpanel/apache/mod_bwlimited.c

    scroll down till you reach the section <HTML> </HTML>etc.
    change to whatever you like...

    Ultimately this will be a template based system, however it'll most likely not be until Apache2.

    Recompile would be neccessary - you will probably need to chattr +i if you use easyapache.

    Obviously this isn't the best method of doing this, but right now, it's the only method.

    Thanks Nick.

    i was wondering what does this line mean:
    #define BWLIMITHTML "/usr/local/cpanel/etc/bwlimit.html"

    can't just edit that html file and recompile?
