there is nothing to envy about that card, he most probably wont use it to its full limit!

I have had my tnt2 32 mb card for (i have no idea how long!) and still works fine, i sometimes even plug it to my tv! (my cpu is 3 GHZ intel 1.5 gb ram ^^ )

i am the type of person who buys things that they only use

I'm still holding out for some better 512 cards. Really be nice for recording tv shows and video editing.

Yeah, I don't think surfing the Internet really maximises it's potential.

My CPU is 3.4ghz, 1gb RAM, ... and I intentionally bought one of the best I could at the time (of those that were available), but I'd just heard a few things about video cards bandied about and wanted a few opinions on it.

I really ought to get some games so I utilise it!

Lol, was not my intention - just hoping I hadn't made lots of $$ for something that wasn't that good! I didn't research it first, it was a choice between the nVidia and the ATI ... and I think the fact the ATI had firewire connectivity, or something like that, was the point that sold me.
