I'm in the market for JSP/MySQL hosting, preferebly on a *nix machine. Has anyone had experience with good shared hosting plans? All of the ones I've found are more expensive than other hosts which just allow for PHP.
I've found dynamic101.com, oxxus.net, and ezpublishing.
I'll want unlimited email accounts (though this isn't mandatory, provided I can create a catch all account), options for up to 500MB of disk space, and 10GB of bandwidth.
I just bough a lunarpages.com account yester day for a client wanting JSP.
will test and tell you, but there pre sale and after sales support is really great. got my first 3 questions replied in 30 minutes on email. Then i found there IRC with a support person online. She was helpful tooo.
They say they are running Resin on Java 1.4.1, would try and post my experience here.
You know, I personally wouldn't recommend getting JSP support on a Linux system. In my opinion it can cause high loads, potential to security vulnerabilities and overall, is really not ready to be offered yet with web hosts.
But this is only my comment.
