Gates goggles at Google and gouges out geographic software

Microsoft joins the satellite, geographic imagery and placement wars.

GOOGLE KEYHOLE v MICROSOFT NEAR ME

I think Gates is getting a bit ahead of himself with search capability, Google are established in this field.

I don't think he is getting ahead of himself at all...just because google is already established in the search engine field doesn't mean that Microsoft shouldnt and can't go for it as well.

I can't see any company or service beating Google Maps anytime soon, including Microsoft.

Think about it, Microsoft is into everything, computers, software, gaming, almost anything that runs elecrity through it and so much more. Microsft alone is like 5x more rich, if thye wanted to they could have any thing equal to google in like a month, its crazy. Well thats just what I think...

I think the thing that keeps google ahead of microsoft, is that they stress so hard to be a "non-evil" corporation. Unlike microsoft who spends every waking second in court sueing or getting sued. Google has done a good job, and been able to help out a lot of people, whereas Microsoft is just in it for money and nothing more. It will probably change in the future though, now that google is public..
