What sort of hosting are you offering? What do you hope to get back in terms of branding, leads and ROI? $50 is a very, very small campaign and its hard to find much advertising on that budget. Your best bet would likely be to find a small hosting forum with quality traffic (not just hosts but people looking for host) or a lead source generation site such as an opt-in program or pay-per-click advertising on a network like Google or Yahoo (low bids on less than mainstream search terms can net good results).

Might use AdWords and target your compeitors name and have a keyword that goes negative to get attention (or not), so if you advertise for the phrase "XYZ Hosting" or "XYZ Review", then have a keyword entry that says "Why XYZ Hosting is Bad?" and go to a page on your site why you explain you beat them in features or so on.
Low keywords are only 5 cents a click...
So 50 bucks is 1000 clicks, will take some time to run through that amount though.
I agree with TedS, on $ 50 per month you can't get an effective ad and quality traffic.
You should look for ad in local newspapers, yellow pages or a weekly magazine might you can get the ad on that budget.
