What do you dedicated server folks use for antivirus on your windows 2003 servers that have ftp, smtp/pop mail and host websites?

    Thank you

    pcgeek ,

We mostly use Norton AV system. But CalmAV also could be nice solution and cheaper one.

Symantec AV Corporate 10, pretty neat for both servers and clients, and it also does spyware

We've been using it on our corporate LAN and web boxes for years now without a single infection, so it's all good stuff.

Do you just install the norton corporate 10 on the webserver and it will take care of all websites/email/ftp? What do you need the client for?

    Thanks

Well it's really a solution for networks with servers and client pc's, but in a web server environment you just install the server and yes it takes care of it all.

If you're using exchange however you'll need the exchange plugin.

  8. For Merak, we use their integrated av, with F-prot at the OS level (windows, obviously).
