I'm getting the below error when I try to access a page on my server that uses MySQL. I think the problem is PHP is not configured to work with MySQL(I'm not quite sure how it got like this all of the sudden), but when I do the phpinfo function, MySQL is not listed on the page at all.
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql_connect()
Yes, I do have root access to my server.
Any help anyone could provide would be much appreciated. E-mail me at jumpbug-at-gmail.com if you can help. Payment will be made through PayPal. Thanks!
PHP4 (and below) has MySQL support included by default; the functions are embedded into the core of PHP. But PHP5 has removed embedded support for MySQL and requires MySQL to be loaded as an add-in module, in the same way you have to support anything else.
