    * Password Changer

    I am starting a server. I am running apache 2.x, php 4, and mysql. My question is how so I make a online password changer that allows my users to change there ftp passwords without using mysql authentication. Please help me.

    This would get better repsonses if it was put in the programming section, but in any event their ftp passwords are going to come from the file /etc/protfpd.passwd most likey, you'll need to either write a script that will access that file, and change their password for them (look at php shell commands) or install something along the lines of webmin/virtualmin for a free control panel so they can change their passwords like that.

    webmin/usermin

    makes me go to

    http://www.google.com/search?biw=995...=Google+Search

    which makes me go to

    http://www.webmin.com/

    With all due respect I hope you aren't starting a paid service.
