I ordered a windows dedicated server from them. The cheapest one (99$) they had and the specs were correct but for the company aspect...There not good company to order from.
Support: They are not there 24 hours like that say. I have called them early in the mourning and tried to chat (Email too)with them and they were not available. Also when my server went offline for some reason they could not get it up for 2 days then I canceled. When they are there they say everything has to go through e-mail even for the simplest crap. When talking to them I asked about them NOT being there and they said they can't be there 24 hours and that no company can be(CHECK HOSTGATOR there always there)
Billing: There quick to charge but take a long time to refund(as in weeks). They charged me a 15 dollar fee that was suppose to be refunded but they said it takes 30 days to go through there system They also said they don't offer refunds for dedicated servers but I have documentation from one of there agents saying they would give me a refund so I guess it is still processing.
Datacenter/server: When the server was working it was fine and it was never down for the minimal time I had my server and the specs were correct on the server.
Setup time: They said a couple of hours...I waited 2 days. I ordered on Friday and received my information on Sunday. I called them a lot that weekend and only about 10% of the time they were they available. Also for compensation they were suppose to put me on a 100mbit port. Instead of putting me on a 100mbit port they just added a "0" to the 10mbit port in the e-mail invoice. They just plan out lied to me.
They are have good prices but don't have the support to back it up with. Also I don't like the fact that they lied about putting me on a 100mbit port. ( I tested the bandwidth multiple ways). They could be a good company but for now i would stay away from them. FAR AWAY.
Just a quick comment, did you try modifying the config for your server's NIC (ethernet interface)?
I've seen a lot of people complain about getting 10mbps ports when they signed for a 100/1000mbps port and a lot of times it's because the network card was setup to use 10mbps and not because of the switch's port speed.
