Can someone please, please, please tell me how to simply chroot a user to a directory in proftpd, I have been to google and everything and cant find a friken simple answer, can't someone please just tel what and where to add it. Please!!
The users will be chrooted to their home directory as defined by /etc/passwd if you're using pam/unix authentication. By using the tilde (~) character as show above the home directory selection is automatic since tilde is synonymous with it.
I gave you that link above and the google tip for a reason my friend
Answering questions and helping out does not bother me in the least, but you are almost trying to get the readers of this thread to configure your entire machine for you. Go to the quota link, it explains every about quotas. For everything you ever wanted to know about quotas see: http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Quota.html
