I enter in the URL of an NBA.com boxscore, and hit submit. It then extracts all the data from that boxscore, and displays it on a screen, where I can verify that the data is correct (placing the numerical data in form input text boxes so I can modify it if the data isn't correct). Then I would click Submit when I have verified that the data is correct.
Once I hit submit, it would enter all the player data (each player having a separate row) (we'll just call the table "games").
I do not need any user authentication/security, I have that provided myself. I do not need any design, I have that myself. I just need this functionality.
There is a description of where the data was collected from below the table.
One thing, for the player names, since nba.com only lists the first initial of the first names, the full first name would have to be taken from the link nba.com provides for each player has to their player profile.
