Heya
Im wanting to make an ordering form for my site. For ordering the Domains reg. + other services that we provide but really dont know the best way to start. I had this idea:

User checks to see if the domain is avaliable
-
If yes, Clicks to order.
-
Do you want hosting with it? yes/no answer
-
If yes, selects hosting package, enters name etc. (info mailed to us) (form mail)
-
Next page is your owe xxx amont for *.domain + * hosting package
-
CC auth page Enter deatails then AUthorise
-
Thank You etc.

You think ive got enough here?
anyone got any links to example pages?
Have i got too much and too many different steps?
What would be the best language to do this in?
I dont want to use a shoping cart.

Thanks

Craig

Some whois scripts can be modifed to contain a link to your order form if the name entered is available. Might be an easier alternative.

I would recommend you do this in PHP. Its easy, and you seem to be new to programing, so PHP would be best for you.

You could check out hotscripts.com for PHP scripts, or ask some-one to program the script for you. Any free lance programer will do it. It shouldnt cost you to much.

I dun think you have too many steps. I think they are just fine as is.
