Huge win to Labour in Territory Elections!
Labour = 17 seats
Liberal = 4 seats
Independent = 1 seat
3 doubtful.
This was called within two hours of polls closing and the CLP conceded defeat after 90 minutes.

Yeah, I heard Labor campaigned hard on law and order, so looks like it paid off for them. We don't hear much of Territory politics, in the QLD media. Seems like another country up there though. heh.

Not only did they campaign it, they acted it in the the previous four years, moreso in the last year. They've strengthened the police force, and the way they deal with "long grassers" harassing and begging from locals and tourists and there is more to come.
I guess it does appear to be a different country, but it is warmer than Toowoomba

Hmmm, if memory is serving me correct, didn't you lot have that 3 strikes and you go to jail, policy?

I believe CLP were in power for 29 years before being ousted in 2001. So I would say the libs
