    * motherboard issue plz help

    I just bought a new AMD 64 mobo (MSI K8T Neo2F) and a gig of dual channel ram(KINGMAX SuperRAM 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Unbuffered Dual Channel Kit System Memory Model MPXD42D-2K - Retail])

    I am having problems getting the Mobo to allow the RAM to run in Dual Channel mode. When I put the ram in Dimm 1 & 3 and booted the comp, I got no video. I flashed the BIOS to v 3.31. When I put the ram in slots 1 and 2 the comp runs fine, except the ram is only in single channel not dual channel.

    Does anyone know any way to get my mobo to allow my ram to run in Dual Channel?

    According to the MSI web site, for double rate the modules should go in slots 2 and 4 not 1 and 3. It also makes a point of emphasising optimizing BIOS settings for DDR 400. WHile it may or may not matter, their recommended Kingston memory is a different part numebr from yours.
