Anyone upgraded from Centos 4.0 to 4.1? Actually any need at all to do that?

    Wouldn't up2date take you to 4.1?

Dot releases for enterprise are basically rollups of all of the erratta released in the last quarter. There is no new functionality.

All you have to do to "upgrade", is change the baseurl in your //etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.repo for the [base] & [update] repos. replace $releasever with 4.1. Then so a yum update && yum upgrade.

If you are in Europe you can use our CentOS server for your updates, edit your yum.conf for:

    eurovps.centos.org

It will be much faster than the American mirrors.
