    Web server processor difference

Money aside, is there a significant difference between the processors below?

    Intel® Xeon™ processor at 2.8GHz/1MB Cache, 800MHz FSB
    Intel® Xeon™ processor at 3.0GHz/2MB Cache, 800MHz FSB

I am not an expert, but I would be willing to bet under load the second one will perform noticably better (2MB cache is nice).

I would certainly agree with justadollar.
The two Meg cache is going to have quite the performance effect, if money isn't an issue go for that one for sure.
