Openings for designer, php programmer, article writer, etc.
We excited about launching the start-up company/website NewRepair.com (We will supply professional automotive information on a subsciption basis auto repair professionals) and are building a team of people interested in a ground-floor opportunity. Starting with high potential on a small budget, we are looking for people who will offer their time for free or for a small fee.
We would like to start a relationship/partnership with the following people (1 each for now):
~web designer - should be able to provide clean, well-coded, XHTML and CSS-valid layouts, unique logos, etc.
[This should be a relatively easy job for an experienced web designer]
~content writer/copier - should (obviously) have excellent reading/writing skills along with the ability to grasp new concepts including converting text articles to flowcharts and vice-versa, writing articles related to scematics, etc.
[This maybe the toughest position to fill and idealy we would like someone with an automotive background]
~php/mySQL coder - we need someone who can build php/mySQL applications starting with a customer interface system for purchasing subscriptions to our service
[This position might be good for a 'heavy-duty' weekend code warrior who can build slick, secure, templated applications]
~marketing/sales person - must be able to create marketing startegies all the way to closing sales. Only someone who is easy to contact (MSN, fast response to email, etc) need apply.
[Great opportunity for a marketing student, etc]
~anyone else who may be interested and can help - we aren't really looking for anyone else in particular but if you think you can contribute in another way let us know!
In exchange, we will offer the following:
~Free hosting on our *nix-based servers
~Opportunity to be a 'ground floor' partner in a high-potential start-up company
~Work from home on your hours!
Things we need from you:
~Working examples of your work and preferably a portfolio
~Dedication to the project (no people who will drop out after a month or two)
~Clear communication channels (we must be able to communicate effectively and with a fairly fast response time)
~Approximate amount of time you can dedicate to the project
~Fees (if any) associated with your help
Only a few hours a week may be required by partners (depending on the task at hand and how much time you want to commit). That being said the owner will take hours/dedication into consideration when other opportunities become available.
