perl or bash script needed to look for a string and delete it
I need a bash or perl script that will go through all php files in the home directory and delete a string of php code like the below...
Paying job of course. Please PM me only if you are absolutely confident you can do this without deleting any other code that may be in the file. Thank you for your time.
This looks pretty simple I pmed you
you could try this
create a file called s.sed with content
then a file called s.sh with content
put them both to /home
sed -f s.sed $1 > $1.new
mv $1.new $1
for i in `find -name *.php` ; do ./s.sh $i ; done
it will run if the "php code" is on 1 line, if its on 2 you need to change the s.sed file
since the script does create the new "clean" file as .new and someone might already have the file, best to change the extension to something else
Thats what I did for him. Though I added some more error checking and made it all one file.
