Hello everyone! I'm new to this forum... my host is spyhost.net
I have good hosting plans, and I give away free domain names. Problem is that, I don't own any license for registerind domains, and I do that with godaddy... that is quite painful, for I pay high prices like 8$ per domain. So I thought may be I could become domain reseller or something. Please help me out with this issue! I'll appreciate any help!
Well You will probably need to become a reseller of a reseller actually. I wouldn't look for it to be a profittable market. Unless you can shell out the thousands of dollars to become a first tier reseller then you likely won't make much money.
are a couple of first tier resellers for Enom. I would recommend hostgator but they are both $8.95 per domain. There are a lot of advantages to reselling yourself verse manually registering them at godaddy.
Why not sign up at www.namezoom.net? They are first tier eNom Trusted Partners (eNom resellers).
Their pricing is quite good.
If you can do micro management for every of your domains, try ev1servers.net. But I think their domain registration feature is disbaled at the moment.
For my opinions, DirectI would be a wiser choice for low-cost start up.
By the way, I am suprise by your web hosting plans pricings. How can you give out a FREE DOMAIN name for the plans starting at $1.5 per month? I don't see such business plan in the hosting industry last long.
I am sorry if my message seems offending to you. I was just making my opinions.
yes, I know... But I have a nice bus plan. Basically think of it as a one year plan. I'm promoting my host, when I have enough users, prices will go up and number of users will go down. (btw, as you may have seen on my website I have disabled monthly payment! for a client may just come, buy an account and than run away, living me with 1,5$ and 8$ wasted for domain. SO I disabled monthly payment feature!)
thanks for u'r response! I think I'll stick to godaddy for a while... at this point I have only 16 customers and the rate of user growth is very slow, so I don't have a lot of pending domain registrations.... I think I can wait for a while...
I can oversee your business plan now. Brother, honestly, I don't really think that it is a good plan at all. Why would you scare your users away by increasing the prices years to years? It is abit unthical, I think.
oh and, I'm not offended, I know I have low prices... but that's only for limited number of users, that's a promitonal offer, later prices will go up, but this year, I only plan to cover server fees, no profit...
no, that's not what I had in mind but anyways, I'm not here to disclose all my plans... and I hope my offers, like website design, templates will generate more sales than actuall host! (+To say the truth, server is for my work, I use it to host client websites, www.itdc.ge)
