I've had issues occasionally with a d-link to linksys set up. (Wireless setup) where d-link was the wireless card. They required a physical reset of the router to fix and allow connection again with the wireless card.
I however was using the WRT55AG router and dwl-524 card. I think the issues were due to signal strenght as upgrading to a better antena fixed the problems. My step father also had issues while using his built in intel wireless so I think we atributed the problems to the router and not the card.
I also have a d-link wireless router and never had a problem with the combination while using the d-link card.
I figured out what I wanted to do and that was just turn the wireless router into an access point and the linksys router will control it from there. Its a pretty simple setup once I found the right information.
