    Member growth for phpbb forum

I would like to display the increase in member count each day and per month.

Think the easiest way would be to run a cronjob every day which stores the ammount of members each day.
So i would have a database with date field and member field

I get the current date and substract the 1st of the month of of it.
Problem is i have no experience with date storage in mysql. How do i store and querie this?

Maybe I'm missing something here but phpbb stores the date when the person registered so all you have to do is count how many registered on each day.

convert it to format such as yyyy/dd/mm

check for the 'dd' if it is == 01 or 1 (depending on the format you use) then it must be the first day o the month.

phpbb sucks, so many breaks and random glitches, and so basic and uncustomiazeable. you should go with ipb or vb, or even xmb
