A cosy, family run business, researching, making and selling classic childrens toys. None of the new plastic rubbish, classic tin and wooden toys.

Why? Because I once watched a movie that was based around a man who drove this type of business in to the ground, his 11 year son then raised the money to buy all the companies shares, and therefore became his Dad's boss, and made the company a huge success. Although it was just a movie, it looked fantastic.

I have always thought that once I retire (Yes, I already think about the day I retire) that I won't really retire, I'll instead start up a business like this, or buy a campsite and run that, I haven't quite decided which yet.

Housing and development is very big on the market right now. It is very popular, yet many people fail at it. You need to be good at it, and understand how to do it correctly. Thats what i'd do.

I would build storage units, like ones you can put something the size of a car in or smaller. A local person has done this, with an investment under $500,000 and now has revenue of over $150,000 per year. The overhead now is just taxes and bookkeeping. It is very lucrative if the market is right...

It was a great business around here about 5 years ago, but now it seems every where you go there is storage units. Though I could see how you could make good money out of it if there is still market around your area .

Always wanted a cozy coffee shop. Not of the fast food donut variety. But one that is a high end specialty coffee shop.

    Mmmmm, coffeeeeee

    Mmmmm, chocolate covered coffee beans

    Mmmmm, latte macchiato

This is another that's on my list, A nice coffee shop would be very low overhead yet can definitely produce good results. Wireless Internet, news...etc....

Really, while the job is paintball related, it is far from fun and doesn't produce as much profit as you'd think.

The job is tiresome, at times boring, tedious. But alot of the time that is forgotten when you see the smile on your clients faces

If I was going to do it, it would be indoor, sup'air. Using Ions as the site marker with compressed air.

A driving range would be kinda nice too. Years ago, I developed a business plan to start one (complete with batting cages, mini golf, etc), but it never came to fruition.

Nice summer (cash) business, then fly south with the profits for the winter.

I have actually thought about this quite a bit. It would be: 1) real estate 2) storage 3) pawn shop 4) rent to own business (ie, rent a center) 5) video store 6) pay day advance loan center. I don't know about anything else.
