Gmail spooler ripped off the web by Google

    http://isnoop.net/gmail/

Is this the first step in an international re-valuation of Gmail invites and they are now basically worthless?. Lets face it.

you could send all your invites to a specific email address ([email protected]), and it would save the info in a database. Then, whoever wanted gmail could go to the site, enter the confirmation code, and have the gmail invite sent to themselves.

They were given an invitation. All users of the gmail spooler were given an invitation.

I meant they did what they had to do to prevent people from registering without being given an invitation being sent directly to the person's e-mail. They didn't think it was fair for invitation to be store up waiting for random people to get it.

Yes, they, including myself, was given an invatation (by testing the gmail spooler) through that way but it was not sent directly from the sender. It was send through the spooler from the sender.

I wonder why they are against Gmail invites being given out in that way?

Google has a lot of very smart people. Im sure there is a reason why they want the whole invite thing but we cannot understand yet.

I agree with VolkNet, Google is almighty, and we are all but just feeble websurfers.

What I was thinking is that maybe it costed him alot of bandwidth, and he did not know how to make money out of it... so he decided to stop it, and maybe make the blame on gogo..
