I am sure he is refering to DFW, which would of course be layeredtech, of personally seeing it, the DFW Savvis center puts many smaller dc's to shame.

All Savvis DC's are top flight datacenters. If you are referring to layeredtech who is in the Dallas Savvis DC it falls into the above, top notch.

The question seems a bit odd to me. What does a good datacenter mean?

Quality transit, quality environmental systems, quality power (typically on a redundant grid), most of all quality people.

    Thats what I assumed.

I always look for high quality urinals and marble in the bathroom.

All kidding asside, when I see marble in the Men's room and $2,000 chairs in the conference room, I immediately know I'm in the wrong place.

If tomsyer says that Savvis is a top notch DC then you can be sure that it is.

I have dealt with tomsyer on different levels for over a year now and he has never been wrong. Look at his rank. He is THE EVANGELIST!!!!!

That doesn't mean a thing, the rank is based on the # of posts

And I am THE WEB HOSTING GURU!!!!

In all seriousness, I would go with SAVVIS. If your going to be getting servers with LayeredTech, rest assured, they are a great company.
They recently added more bandwidth to their network! Faster for gamers.
