How often do you wash your car?

Since its summer I am out there once a week. My neighbors think I am crazy.

It used to be once a week - especially in winter, then we moved into an apartment complex and it hasn't been washed now in over 6 months.

    Depends on which vehicle.

I have some that I never wash. And I have some that I can't stand to see a little dust on.

Once mines out of the shop with the body kit in a week or so I will probably be washing it every 2-3 days.

Depends on how busy I am .. I voted for every now and then, since I haven't gotten it washed in a few months, but I would like to purchase a new car within the next year or so.

Find out how often it rains, if that counts as washing.

I wash my car once in a while for the most part. Though once in a while I will wash it 2 times a month or so. Though if you count rain... I have washed it for the last 7 days non stop for the most part....

    Couple quick examples . . .

I have a black Lincoln (okay, I'm a glutton for punishment) that I have washed four times in a week.

I have an old, red and gray Ford pickup that I last washed in 1999.

About once a month, though my parents was their Mercedes quite often...because of the amount of salt that gets up where we live.

I have two semi-new cars I try to wash at least every two weeks, I have had some other junk boxes which were never washed for years at a time.

I don’t wash it very often at all. The only way my car ever gets washed is either when it rains, or it looks too terrible to be driven and I feel embarrassed going out in it (so I then decide to wash it).

I washed mine last night because I'm taking some people out tomorrow. Usually every 2 months or so, but every couple weeks I'll hose it down and squeegy the windows. That makes a big difference, you can see the dirt just rolling off. Silver is great for not showing dirt as bad as some other colors. I think black is probably the worst.

Well normally "once in a while" but now that I have a kinda nice ride, I tend to wash it or get it washed pretty regular.

Don’t worry about having a dark car. Mine is extremely dark blue (looks black actually), and it is true that dust shows up really easily. If your car is dirty then it is dirty, and people will see it regardless of colour (unless of course your car’s colour is the same colour as the dirt! ).
