help? please
I was on some site clicked a link and it ended up being a porno site, then I got a virus alert, I clicked "heal" then my computer shut down. I turned it back on and got the message:
"A disk read error occurred
Press ctrl+alt+del to restart
_"
I typed ctrl+alt+del like 10 times and it kept giving me the same message. Someone please help?
PS. Someone reccomended I use the windows xp disc but when I put it in a black screen comes up and it never loads.

Yes, you can hear the disk running but the screen stays black, I know it's preparing to start.

That's what it sounds like. Do you have another computer where you can mount the harddrive to check? Is the Dell still under warranty?
