[Linux] Terminal Input Slows Down (But speeds up the more you delete of your input)
This one has got me stumped, we've just installed 3 identical servers for a customer, but there's a problem with one of them.
When you're in an SSH session and pasting lines in, you get to about 30 characters, then input slows to a crawl, getting slower and slower, until it's adding 1 char per 1.5-2 seconds to the command line. So for example if I press and hold the z key, it'll go at the defined repeat rate up to about 30 chars (Repeat rate is 10.9cps), then it'll slow to a crawl - If I then hold the backspace key, it'll start slowly deleting the input line, and get faster the more it deletes. I can only assume it has something to do with the bash input buffers.
As far as we can tell, it's not causing any major problems, with the exception of it intefering with any SSH sessions etc.
If anyone has any ideas on how to fix it, then it'd be much appreciated.
