SMS notification Service
SMS notifications are purchased by prepaid credit. Yes, you are right, you do not need to pay monthly membership to receive SMS notification and the number of SMS notification that you received is not limited by your membership but by number of credit you have.
We also have multiple SMS gateway that we use to send notification which means that we donít have single point of failure in SMS notification too.
Wait a minute... "where is the free SMS that you promise?"
To celebrate our successful rollout of multi-sites monitoring service, we are going to give away some SMS notification, so,.. to be fair to everyone, first 10 to post your username in our service will get 3 free credits which you can use to receive SMS notification.
Any catch? Yes. Any unused credit will be expired on 30 July.
Anymore catch? You must be a registered WHT user before this post. So, it is only opened to WHT user only....
gilbert, this is a known secret. I do know some of our competitors block such email address. As for us, we don't block this kind of email addresses from the mobile operator. I would be interested to know how much do you need to pay to T-Mobile for this kind of service and would that cause a spamming problem to you?
Furthermore, the free monitor interval for siteuptime.com is 30 min and as for us, it is 15 min.
So, want to give us a try,.. yes, you can request not to have the credit to be added to your account so that we can give to someone else.
You should recieve our test sms. If you didn't recieve it, send us an email and let us know whether are you using a number which is ported from another operator and give us more information on the Operator that you are using.
