    Your favourite CMS software?

    Hi,

I own an entertainment website (videos, pictures, games, jokes, etc) and would like to invest towards a nice CMS system.

Does anyone know a good content management system that supports the above pages for my website? (ie will be able to sort videos, pictures, games, jokes, etc...)

I was fond of Mambo back when my site was online.

I've never tried it, but maybe ExpressionEngine will do you some good.

I'm a big fan of MXR, and use it for all my sites.

Definately Postnuke or (MD-Pro - based on pn!)!

edit : I would advise you to go with a free open source (Mambo and Xoops also rock!) and not a commercial one!

Btw, my previous web site used phpnuke, but I didnt like it since it was too 'text-y' and now I'm with mambo but its kinda hard to learn.

Where's a good site with loads of templates?

I think PHP Nuke is awful. It's so easy to spot a nuke site...& to Google.

Mambo isn't bad. I also like Koobi.

From my research, I think EZPublish is the best, general purpose CMS.

Typo3 might be better for extensive image processing capabilities.

I've heard that mambo is slow if you have many visitors.

For some special projects, for instance for an English Learning educational site like the one I'm working at, there is nothing like a DIY application.

Drupal. Though I've only used a couple of them. Would never touch *-Nuke again.

Does anyone have/know of a CMS that already has included Video, Pictures, and game modules included?

If you mean a gaming CMS, there's this:
