Strange DNS Error
My cpanel is only accessible through its IP address. When I try to browse any site hosted on it using its domain name I get the following error message:
The system detected an Unresolved Host Name while attempting to resolve the host specified in the requested URL.
DNS resolution failure encountered.
Possible Problem Cause
The host entered has a mistake, or the requested Web site is temporarily unavailable in DNS.
Examine or correct any mistakes, or try again at a later time.
The status page in WHM gives all green services. I restarted BIND and Apache and performed DNS cleanup but the problem is still there!
Any suggestions please?
Thank you in advance.
It seems the server is not accessable only from some part of the world.
I have another server which is working normally. How can I switch the second name server to the working server? Will this solve the problem?
Also make sure your registrar has your domain pointed to your DNS server.
Test one of your domain names at http://www.dnsreport.com/ - see if that will help. You could also post one of your domains so that we can take a look and let you know what's wrong.
dnsreport.com is down!!
Anyhow, domains are not reachable from some parts of the world. How can I have my other server to work as nameserver for domains in trouble?
Try domain-show.com please.

That seems to be fine in both DNS stuff and in my browser.. I can also get to cpanel via https://www.domain-show.com:2087
Yes, some parts of the world have no proplem accessing the server.
It is more than likely a routing problem then I would guess.
So, is it datacenter job to fix this? Or is it my ISP job?
